The Embodied Educator
An Integrative Approach to Pilates Teaching and Professional Practice
September 14 – November 8, 2026
8 Weeks • Asynchronous Learning • Private 1:1 Mentorship • NPCP CECs (pending)
The Embodied Educator is an 8-week professional development and private mentorship intensive for Pilates teachers ready to deepen the way they think, program, communicate, and teach.
Exceptional teaching goes beyond knowing the repertoire. It requires observing the person in front of you, making intentional decisions, adapting when something isn’t working, and understanding the why behind the choices you make.
Across eight progressive modules, you’ll explore clinical reasoning, somatics, nervous system-informed teaching, intentional programming, class architecture, modifications, pain science, restorative movement, and verbal and tactile cueing.
Weekly asynchronous coursework is paired with biweekly private 1:1 mentorship with Lexie, giving you space to apply what you’re learning to your own clients, classes, and professional goals.
There’s a big difference between knowing the exercises and knowing how to teach the body in front of you.
The goal isn’t another set of protocols to memorize. It’s developing the knowledge, intuition, and confidence to ask:
“why am I making this choice, for this person, at this moment?”
And trust yourself enough to answer it.
THE 8-WEEK JOURNEY
Eight weeks. Eight progressive modules.
Learn, integrate, and apply it all on your own time.
A new module unlocks each Monday, guiding you through a progressive journey from clinical reasoning and embodied teaching to programming, communication, and professional practice.

TESTIMONIAL
“Lexie’s course completely transformed my approach to teaching. I was confident teaching privates but felt lost in group settings. In fact, during an audition for group teaching at a NYC studio, I was told I had “no flow” and wasn’t ready.
Just a month later, after completing the course, I returned to that same studio to sub and soon became a regular instructor. One day, the studio manager took my class and said, “You have a very good flow! I’m surprised!”
What had once been my biggest weakness became my strength. The course helped me design group classes that are smooth, dynamic, and challenging, while also boosting my confidence as a new instructor. I now feel equipped to create meaningful experiences for clients and add value to the studios where I teach.”
